Shawnee Market Kayak Rentals

Rate: $20 Per Kayak Per Day + tax = $21.20 (includes paddle and life jacket and delivery to your vacation rental home)
$5 Per Rental Period for additional life jackets (if available). For a personalized PFD fit we recommend you bring your own personal life jacket.

Damaged or lost kayak paddle = $45; Damaged or lost life jacket = $30; Damaged or lost kayak = Replacement cost
A Rental day will be from 2:00 pm check in time at your vacation rental to the following day at 2:00 pm. If you are having the kayak delivered in the middle of your stay a rental day is 24 hours from delivery.

Kayak Rentals RULES Agreement
Canoe/Kayak rentals are at your own risk. Shawnee Market and Ozarks Vacation Homes and staff are not responsible for personal injury or loss of property. Renter shall obey all state of Missouri Boating Regulations, and all lawful directives from appropriate emergency or law enforcement personnel, while operating or renting the boats. In the event of a citation for violation of these rules the Renter shall be solely responsible. Renter agrees to immediately notify Lessor of any incidents or injuries occurring while renting boats.Do not take the kayaks into the main channel - you must stay in the coveDo not use the kayaks before dawn or after duskMaximum capacity per kayak is one person Missouri law requires children 7 years of age or younger must WEAR a personal flotation device (PFD) All other occupants must have a PFD in their possession.All individuals renting kayaks must know how to swim or must be wearing a PFD.Intentional capsizing or swamping of kayaks is prohibited. Swimming off of the kayaks is not allowed.No motors may be attached to the kayaks.Do not stay on the water in the event of thunder or lightening.If your kayak capsizes it will continue to float. Hold on to it as you make your way to shore.Renter will be required to reimburse leasee for all damaged and or lost equipment.Kayaks are reserved/rented on a first come, first serve basis. We cannot guarantee kayaks will be available if not reserved in advance.No prorated rentals - full day only Cancellations due to bad weather are rare but in such a case, we offer a full refund.

Upon my approval I guarantee that I am capable of handling any equipment that I have rented and am solely responsible for my own safety or others whom I allow to use this equiment while it is in my possession. I fully recognize that if anyone is injured or property is damaged while I am in possession of the equipment or while I am engaged in any type of sports associated with this equipment, I am fully and solely responsible.

My signature hereon indicates that I understand and agree to the canoe/kayak rental rules and regulation as stated. I also understand that I am liable for loss or damage to the kayak or related equipment
and for the personal safety of the occupants. I hereby, release Shawnee Market from liability for
personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death resulting from any cause.
